About Amanda Lehman

I practiced as an attorney for 15 years. About 8 years ago, I moved to the non-profit sector allowing more time to travel with my husband's rock band. I have always wanted to work in the film industry, but location was always an issue. Now that the industry has come to me, I can pursue my dreams. I earned my Certificate in Production Office Coordinating & Management from the New Jersey Film Academy and am currently writing and working on student films with schoolmates. My work as an attorney provided experience with discretion, strict timelines and long hours. My work with a non-profit and as a road manager for a rock band provided experience with budgeting, creating quick inexpensive solutions to problems and organizing artistic minded people. While having a creative mind myself, I am also organized and an excellent communicator. I am eager to join a crew in a professional context and feel that my previous experience, while from different industries, would be easily transferable, giving me a valuable foundation along with a unique perspective that would be useful to any perspective employer.
