About Rob Watt
Rob is a filmmaker born, raised, and based in New Jersey. His unyielding passion for cinema and the art of filmmaking has been a consistent drive throughout his life. Through his work, Rob wants to create profound and captivating stories with universal themes that any audience member can enjoy.
Throughout 2021 Rob worked tirelessly to produce and direct "No Witnesses" a comedy crime film he wrote that uses visual humor and cinematic techniques to deliver its jokes. This included successfully funding the film's budget via crowdfunding on Seed and Spark, recruiting a team of talented filmmakers to help with the creative and logistical aspects of the film, and directing the film through a cold four nights of principal photography. Rob attests to the success of the film to the incredible crew that he surrounded and supported himself with. Each person involved, no matter their position, went above and beyond to bring "No Witnesses" to life despite the frigid weather and long nights.
With the film completed, "No Witnesses" has circulated throughout the independent film festival circuit. It has already received acceptance or awards from five different film festivals across the tri-state area, with more potential accolades on the horizon. Now that "No Witnesses" has concluded it's run , Rob plans to fund his next project, "Picking Up The Pieces."
