About Daniel Colaianni
Daniel Colaianni is a film school graduate from La Roche University in Pittsburgh, PA. There he was taught by multiple industry professionals who have worked on such films and shows as Fences, Longmire, Mindhunter, and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. His training was in all facets of the film world. His skill set ranges from directing, writing, editing, composing, camera operating, production assisting, and set dressing.
Daniel has been putting his skills to work constantly. He's written and directed multiple short films, pilots, and features. He currently has two half-hour thriller pilots ranked highly on the Red List for the screenwriting website Coverfly. When he's not writing high-ranking scripts, Daniel is working on sets where he can bring his skill set as a director, writer, editor, production assistant, camera operator, set dresser, and composer.
Daniel's skill set also ranges to social media marketing. He was the athletic department's social media intern for La Roche University, where he gained amazing experience running their team's Instagram accounts, designing all pre- and post-game posts, shooting promo videos, and shooting all games. Now Daniel is currently the coordinator for the New Jersey Film Academy alongside the executive director, Diane Raver, who also happens to be the incredible founder of the Garden State Film Festival.
