About Anthony Marinelli

I'm a freelance video editor and filmmaker whose career began at DDB/NYC shooting and editing everything from corporate videos to commercials for NY Lottery's Win-for-Life scratch-off games, which gave me my first taste of directing. I bring the same level of passion, persistence, and problem-solving skills that I learned back then to every project I work on.
From commercials for brands like Mercedes, BMW, UF Health, Bayer, and Verizon, to documentary films featuring Alicia Keys or Adam Sandler, to branded content, long-form or short form, it’s all “Citizen Kane” to me.
My work has appeared during the Super Bowl, the Oscars, the Olympics and more film festivals than I can count (including Cannes), with awards ranging from Webby, Telly, AICE (nomination), Best Original Screenplay, Best Short Film, and even Best Play because, in addition to editing, I also write and direct for both stage and screen, passion projects that sharpen my skills and remind me every day why I started doing this in the first place: to tell stories.
I also love mentoring and helping people enhance their skills when the opportunity arises. I am unwaveringly loyal to those who helped me when I was starting out and I'm always happy to give back.
